schülke wipes

Fast and practical

schülke wipes are wipes and dispensers for the use in combination with disinfectant solutions for a rapid surface disinfection in low-risk areas. Various sizes and applications, that can be selected based on individual needs, with a shelf life of generally 28 days. For the use in combination with schülke surface disinfectants in all areas of hospitals, nursing homes, rescue services and medical practices.

 

Hygienic filling

To protect the staff and the schülke wipes against contamination we recommend disinfecting the hands and work surfaces as well as wearing a gown, protective goggles and gloves. **According to TRBA 250. paragraph 4.1.3

Open the lid of the wet wipe dispenser and insert the unpacked fleece roll into the dispenser. Pull the inmost wipe a little from the centre.

Then slowly pour 2 litres of ready-to-use product** or 3 litres of a stock solution from a prepared concentrate over the fleece roll using a circling motion (schülke wipes 40 / 70 = 1.5 litres). ** acryl® des, antifect® N liquid, buraton® rapid, mikrozid® AF liquid, mikrozid® sensitive liquid, pursept® A Xpress, perform® advanced alcohol EP, terralin® liquid

Then pull the innermost wipe of the roll into the star-shaped dispensing opening of the lid and dispose it.

Place the lid back onto the dispenser and close it until it locks into place. Now carefully close the protective cap of the dispensing system.

The wipes are completely saturated after a waiting time of at most 30 minutes.

In the meantime, complete the batch label supplied with each wipe roll and stick it onto the wet wipe dispenser in the space provided.

The schülke wet wipes dispensing system is now ready for use. The shelf life for all schülke products is 28 days, except for terralin® PAA.

Cleaning & disinfecting

 

1. Please dispose of any remaining product and wipes after the expiry date or when refilling the wipes.

2. Thoroughly clean the dispenser and the lid using a deep-cleaning and absorbent wipe (e. g. mikrozid® sensitive wipes premium) to remove contamination or residues.

3. After that, thoroughly disinfect the dispenser and the lid. For this step we recommend using alcohol-based disinfectant wipes such as the mikrozid® AF wipes.

4. The dispenser and the lid can also be reprocessed for 10 minutes at 70°C  and for 1 minute at 90°C.

5. Allow the dispenser and the lid to dry completely after disinfection. The dried dispenser is refilled in the same way as for a first filling.
